Desperate and confused, Caroline leaves the hospital; Damon is suspicious of Tyler's uncle; Bonnie unleashes her anger on Damon.
Caroline, feeling confused and desperate, joins her friends at the Mystic Falls Carnival after being released from the hospital. Damon wants to take immediate action, but Stefan and Elena offer Caroline their support. Matt tries to tell Caroline how he feels about her despite being confused about her behavior. Damon starts to suspect Mason Lockwood and tries to use Tyler's short temper to get Mason to reveal his secret. Bonnie takes her frustrations out on Damon as she becomes frustrated with everything going on around her.
The Vampire Diaries is an American television series of supernatural horror, fantasy. The series is based on a book series of the same name by LJ Smith, and was developed for television by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The Vampire Diaries premiered on The CW on September 10, 2009 and was renewed for a second season which premiered on September 9, 2010. At September 16, 2010, 23 episodes have aired. The first season will premiere on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada on August 31, 2010.

The Vampire Diaries follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls for a century-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their lives become more and more complicated as Damon vicious brother Stefan (Ian Somerhalder) returns to town with a vengeance against his brother. The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a city steeped in history supernatural. Other stories revolve around the other inhabitants of the city, especially Elena's younger brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), a friend of Bonnie Elena Bennett (Katerina Graham), who discovers that she is a witch, and his insecurity friend Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola).
